Transitional Housing

This program provides critical support to unhoused individuals and families in Carmichael, focusing on single mothers and their children—a population disproportionately affected by homelessness. In California, families with children now comprise over one-third of the unhoused population, with single mothers and children representing a growing segment.

Robertson House and Charlotte House

Robertson and Charlotte Houses help prepare recently homeless residents of Carmichael for stable housing by providing transitional rent-free housing, case management, medical and mental health referrals, and mentorship. At any given time, we provide four beds for men and four for families through this program. Last year, we provided 1,825 nights of housing
